allright, the latest up date, from Jan 2010, bloozpromoz will be presenting live music on a sunday night in a leeds city centre hostelry, and also in the same venue we will be presenting an unplugged night on a monday, kick off on a sunday will not be till 7.30 to 8ish and the usual timings on a monday, and good beer...anyway full listings will be published this weekend along with the venues name address etc, but in the first month we will be having Rory holl and the men and some old friends from Germany the Blues dentists....so watch this space or should i say the space in the whats on and where..
new years eve...... I know a lot of people will have already sorted out their nights but if you have not don't forget our bash at hoagys, fiver in but that includes 2 pints and free grub come early doors if you want and leave early to the next place but at least you will be fed and watered, from 8
also don't forget boxing day at the duck.....that will be our last weekend involvement at the duck.... and it would be good to see a lot of the friends we have made trying to make music live on in leeds and keeping the duck open as a pub and music venue, all those bands and music lovers who kept that place going well it would be good to see you on a weekend for the last time....cheers, nigeAdd your main content here - text, photos, videos, addons, whatever you want!
Hi guys......just taking time out to let you know the latest on the muddied road of music travels which we start upon...So the duck and Drake has now re established itself has the premier music venue in Leeds on a weekend, its been a long hard toil of changin managers, bad management poor management, but through it all the music lovers have kept it going and I hope in some small way I have contributed to keeping the music rolling its been like a marriage really..Anyway everything changes and with the new owners a new era has started, and, from next year I will noe be doing the thursday nights at the duck and drake and the sundays music session will now be run by Simon , so to all the friends I have built up over the past nine years I send my thanks for your support and making my weekends an enjoyable and wonderfull time,
