Just want to drop a line to one and all, asking anybody who can to support Friday nights at Hoagys as a special this friday got the blueflies on, all support would be appreciated as we need to get a new venue up and going rather than settle for what is being copied.
second a personal rant about the fickleness of people. I have always tried to help the up and coming artist even to my detrement but unfortunately they seem to think that me as a person can take any amount of their indignation, indifferance and selfishness, well sometimes I can't.
Unfortunately it happened again on Sunday you give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their reliability and credability, you try your hardest to give them realy good oppurtunities, festival oppurtunities which they are happy to grab,but then they throw other gigs in your face even though they need the money then do not even bother to say sorry though they have pissed on your credibility,not once but several times. I admit I was angry on Sunday to the point where TRudi had to make sure that I did not take it out on others, but now I just feel sorry that people are so small in their outlooks.
I remember this particular person saying that they never want to get like a certain venue owner, performer,well I am afraid that with their current disregard for others who have done so much from their own pockets for them, they are becoming that same person and don't forget, things have a way have biting you in the bum
